Wallpaper Weekly, no. 18 / Fromental “Paradiso”

Manufacturer: Fromental / Pattern: Paradiso / Colorway: Cuirass

Fully embroidered Paradiso in Cuirass at The LUXE, Spitalfields in London

This week’s feature is from Fromental, a British company which creates luxurious wallcoverings – we’re talking handcrafted, hand-painted, hand-embroidered works of art for your walls. Above is one of their standout creations which is a fully hand-embroidered (crazy!) chinoiserie pattern wallcovering installed at The Luxe, Spitalfields restaurant in London.

We’re wild for this Yves Klein Blue colorway and the installation of this wallcovering.  The juxtaposition of the precious handcrafted and colorful wall and natural exposed wood and steel beams is design genius. We’re putting this spot on our list for London dining experiences!

“It’s the quirks of their designs, from the turn of a birds beak to the shimmer of a cherry blossom- which makes Fromental’s work worth a second, third or tenth look.” – vogue magazine. Check them all out here!
