From Paris to Flatiron: Pucci

Lobby of Hotel du Petit Moulin - stools of note in center!

While in Paris, we took note of some uber-chic stools in the lobby of our hotel (see our previous post on Hotel du Petit Moulin).  Yesterday, we realized they are sold in New York just a few doors down from our office at the Ralph Pucci showroom on 18th Street. We thought it ironic…and just plain convenient!

The Bishop stool was design by India Mahdavi, interior and furniture designer, headquartered in Paris. Tre chic on all counts!

The stools, here in a wood finish and being used as seating with upholstered cushions. The interior is also by Mahdavi at the Condesa DF Hotel in Mexico City.

Patrick Naggar Bronze Side Table via Ralph Pucci

While in Ralph Pucci, we also spotted these little side tables, designed by Patrick Naggar. An edition of just eight (yes, eight) total of these little bronze beauties are being produced. We’d love to use these next to a pair of tufted banquettes we’re designing for a client (though the insane price tag may be a slight deterrent)!

Why how did you know? These are like my favorite ever, they are like Smarties but as stools!
