Guilty Pleasure

We will fully come clean with our guilty pleasure for Bethenny Frankel and all of her reality television.  We’ve laughed and cried with her over the years on BravoTV while she got married, had a baby, built her Skinnygirl empire, and now as she faces her separation and divorce from Jason.

While many of us (you can admit it too!) watched her and Jason buy, renovate and decorate with the Mariette Himes Gomez (“girls”!) over the last season, we were thrilled to see the final results in the new Traditional Home. Check out the finished home!

TiltonFenwick_WallpaperWeekly

Manufacturer: de Gournay / Pattern: Custom

This week’s wallpaper comes from the same Brooklyn apartment of Miranda Brooks from last week’s wallpaper post. It’s all just too good not to feature!  Below, the Master Bedroom made by it’s statement custom de Gournay paper.

Round Hill, Meg Braff Design

Excited to share a fun, preppy island project of Locust Valley based designer Meg Braff’s today…just three days before Anne jets down to the same resort, Round Hill in Jamaica, for a last hurrah babymoon!  We’re totally obsessed with Braff’s design for this private villa, and especially the pink retro-style umbrella above.

After what feels like weeks and weeks of dreary gray NYC weather, can’t wait for some bright sun and blue skies! See you soon, Round Hill!

Vogue’s Young Designers To Watch: Meg Sharpe

Somehow we missed Vogue’s list of Four Young Interior Designers to Watch (published on their website in September).  Did you catch it? For those in our boat, late to the game, some gorgeous photos of a fabulous restaurant favorite of ours (in fact, Anne is headed to dinner there tonight). We’re also happy to be introduced to the designer behind the beauty of The Lion, Meg Sharpe.

Sharpe says her inspiration for the main dining space: “We came up with a story for this space. It was your great-great-grandmother’s home that had been passed down through the generations, and instead of taking pieces off the wall, the grandkids and the great-grandkids just kept putting stuff on.”

Our own instagram snapshot from a TF dinner at The Lion from last May.
